Shrine Model

Project Description

The making of a shrine, or Shinto shrine, with 3D-modeling software.

‘Make anything you want, the technique is what matters’. That would be an accurate description of the assignment given by my 3D-modeling instructor.

I had to document every step of the way, so I could later show the new techniques I’ve learned to my peers.

It was a lot of fun using all the techniques I had learned over the course of just a few lessons. But it was even more fun, and exciting, to show my classmates what new tricks, tools, and techniques I found out for myself. Including, but not limited to: creating curves, mirroring, and fixing persistent overlaying vertices.
